Lost Dream

 You were my dream,

You were my everything, 

Everything I've ever wanted,

I had forgotten how to dream,

Until I met you.

You reminded me of everything,

And everything I've ever longed to be.

You were a part of God, a part of me,

That helped me see my true identity.

Now you're gone and it feels wrong.

I realise, you are my light.
