A Lifeless Life (My first one in freestyle)

No laughter.
No joy.
No loss.
No cry.
No poetry.
No drama.
No music.
No art.
No desire.
No satisfaction.
No heart.
No soul.
Just the mind that controls-
Every single action, word and deed.
None wish to be hurt.
None wish to be relieved.
A jigsaw puzzle,
Missing one piece,
No need to be found,
Left incomplete.
Only aim is to be alive,
And do your work as you breathe,
Just act on your goals,
No need to believe.
Lifeless eyes, lifeless soul,
Not really a problem,
No need to console.

There is a light,
But there is no spark,
It shines too bright,
But somehow it is still the dark.

There is a beautiful ocean,
But there are no tides,
And people are in perfect relations,
But nobody loves, nobody fights.

Life is so smooth, nothing to excite.

More umbrellas, less rain;
The sun's almost out, go search for shadow;
All minds thinking the same,
So perfect and so narrow.

You can hear a marvelous melody,
But nobody wants to sing along,
Of course, there are better things to do-
Than singing a silly song.

People are not keen, yet they strive for success;
There is no passion, there is no dream;
Yet life never seems like a mess,

Smile on the lips,
Yet no sparkle in the eyes,
Nobody cares about how to live,
Yet everybody wants to survive.

Like mad animals we are alive,
But nobody ever stops to realize,
That they may surely get,
All that they need,
But what would always be left-
Is a pinch of inner peace.

And this is the worst thing happening to humanity,
That everybody thinks that they are alive,
But their heart is actually dying or already dead,
Because they are living a lifeless life,
But, Shh,
Nobody wants to know,
No need to be said.

-Thank you.(2013)

Acceptance

Can you imagine a world full of all positivity and no negativity?
Wouldn’t it be wonderful, or would it be?
Well, let’s see.

If love had come without the hate,
There would never have been some particular people close to our heart,
‘Coz we’d only learn to love everybody from the start.
And if the rainbow had come without the rain,
We would never have been excited to open our windows and see,
And adore the sky decorated with its colours regularly.

If the light had come without the dark,
We’d never praise the presence of light,
And our loved ones would never have lit a candle,
To cuddle in the middle of a dark night.

If the hero had come without the villain,
The heroine would have punched him in the face!
And if pleasure had come without the dissatisfaction,
Our hearts would never have been in the chase.

If joy had come without the tears,
Nobody would have ever wanted to make someone happy.
And if dare had come without the fear,
Nobody would have ever wanted to try anything willingly.

If relief had come without the pain,
There would be only hurt, no healing or sympathy.
And if the sane had come without the insane,
Nobody would ever appreciate the minds full of wisdom and maturity.

So just imagine how unhappy, boring and uneventful the world would be,
With all positivity and no negativity.
So I say,
Learn to accept the things that happen while you’re living,
‘Coz if life had come without the death,
There would be no success, we'd all be sick of surviving.
-Thank you.(2013)

Little Sunshine

Once upon a time,
Right in the middle of the world's most beautiful garden,
A miracle had happened.
During Spring time, out of utter sunshine-
Emerged the lovliest bud so tiny and divine.

The whole world came to see,
And celebrate her incomparable beauty,
For the sight of such a bud was so unbelievable,
And so they called her the happiest miracle.

Time passed by, and the bud began to grow into a flower;
And as she blossomed, her big yellow petals spread into the sunlight;
So beautiful, they seemed to shimmer in sunshine power;
So just to embrace her daytime beauty,
People waited insanely each night-for the sun to rise.

Each day, she seemed to glow more and more;
And spread more colour than the sun itself,
People came to her, in need of light;
And she always felt beautiful if she could help.
And as she got love and praise with the passage of time,
She began to be known as 'Little Sunshine.'

But one, stormy day-
Her incompetable fate went wrong,
For in her way-some cruel hands had come along.
They plucked her from the garden as fast as they could,
Never really thinking of whether or not they should.

And now Little Sunshine lies in a room so dark-
Enclosed with four walls,
And all she desires is a little sunshine-
Just a little bit after all.
For she has lost her own shine,
Neither she can give, nor she can get;
Her once beautiful yelllow shade is fading before time,
Been replaced by colourless sorrow and regret.

The humans can speak, but flowers cannot;
And so she lay still in the darkness,
Missing the good old times-
When she could define happiness.
Her petals are drying but she cannot die, scream or speak for herself;
Every single second, she can only internally cry;
And wait for the misery to end-
For nobody can actually help.

And so this is the fate of Little Sunshine,
To always remain desperate for just a little bit of sunshine,
And so this story ends how it isn't supposed to be,
Yes, that Little Sunshine is me.

Little Jago

Little Jago is a four year old,
The funniest boy you’ll ever meet,
He’s very crazy-yet very bold,
He can make you laugh off your seat!

Little Jago asked his mommy,
“Can I kill you right now?”
Mom shook her head and said,
“That’s not the way to speak!”
“Oh sorry”, he said with a bow,
“Can I kill you please?”

Little Jago on the dinner table,
Leaves all his leafy vegetables,
He says that he’s told in class,
That he should stop eating grass.

Little Jago explained to his teacher-
The process of respiration,
“When you breathe, then you inspire,
When you don’t, then you expire.”
Perhaps the most valid explanation!

“Why is he so funny?”
He is questioned by the entire world,
No doubt, he mentions-
“Being jolly attracts girls!”

Even though Little Jago is totally insane,
One thing he’s always been told,
That “Dear Jago, always stay the same;
Never-ever grow old.”

Friendship (For my junior readers)

From up, above in a world that’s so magical-
There are angels that god always sends,
Just to make my life special,
Come down my dear friends!

My friends are of different types-
Some are tough, cool or lovable;
Some are sweet, some are wise;
But all of them are just so adorable!

We live, grow and learn holding hands;
We talk, play, love and laugh together;
Each of our joy and sorry we understand,
And we pinky promise that we’ll be friends forever!

I’ve always loved my friends from the start,
And the only ship of angels that would never sink-
In the river of my heart,
Is the very special ship-Friendship!

Importance of co-operation in our life.(For my junior readers)

There is a’ lot of importance of co-operation in life. It makes life easy. We should be kind enough to co-operate instead of always competing with others. Co-operation arouses peace and friendship in one’s life. By co-operating, we learn to adjust with different kinds of people in various situations. Just as the combination of different ingredients brings life to a desired dish; the co-operation of different minds brings life to a desired goal. Helping each other enhances a healthy social and mental life. Co-operating with different kinds of people results in a greater productivity in our tasks. Hence, co-operation is one of the most important keys to success.

Let us help each other.(For my junior readers)

We should always help each other. It is said that every little help is returned in double folds. Helping helps to sow a seed of kindness in one’s heart. This seed germinates to yield love, friendship and peace. I have heard that we should learn to lend help with gratitude and take it with humility. Helping makes us understand each other’s needs and deeds. The help can be small or big, but it is never considered small in one’s heart. We should always be sensitive to the needs of others and eager to help them. Helping creates a healthy social and mental environment. It is the best act of benevolence anyone could do. So let us help each other!
